Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a crimp terminal that is excellent in dimensional precision.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a crimp terminal 10 that has a cylindrical crimp portion 20 at one end thereof and has a plate-like connection portion 30 at the other end thereof comprises a first step S20 for forming a cavity 51 having a bottom at one end 501 of a columnar member 50, a second step S30 for forming a groove 52 at a position nearer to the other end 502 side than the cavity 51 in the columnar member 50, and a third step S40 for rolling a portion nearer to the other end 502 side than the groove 52 in the columnar portion 50.
