Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension unit of an automatic fire alarm system capable of preventing increase in consumption current in an identical time zone.SOLUTION: An extension unit 10 of an automatic fire alarm system A1, which is electrically connected to a pair of power cables to which a voltage is applied, includes: a storage section 17; a communication section 14; and a processing section 19. The storage section 17 stores a piece of identification information unique to the unit. The communication section 14 receives a synchronization signal which is a signal represented by changes of voltage applied to the pair of power cable, and which is transmitted from a master unit 20 to synchronize with other extension units 10. When the communication section 14 receives the synchronization signal, the processing section 19 performs a fire detection operation by using the consumption current which is supplied from the master unit 20 in an operation time zone allotted according to the identification information stored in the storage section 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】同一時間帯での消費電流の増加を抑えることができる自動火災報知システムの子機を提供する。【解決手段】電圧が印加される一対の電線に電気的に接続された、自動火災報知システムA1の子機10は、記憶部17と、通信部14と、処理部19とを備える。記憶部17は、自機に固有の識別情報を記憶している。通信部14は、一対の電線に印加される電圧の変化により表される信号であって、他の子機10との同期をとるために親機20から送信された同期信号を受信する。処理部19は、通信部14で同期信号が受信されると、記憶部17に記憶された識別情報に応じて割り当てられた動作時間帯で、親機20から供給される消費電流を用いて火災検知の動作を行う。【選択図】図1
