PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of a film heating system that suppresses deformation due to local and intensive contact occurring to a film and a film support member to improve durability of the film.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes an elastic roller to be driven, a cylindrical film in contact with the elastic roller, and a film support member that supports the film, has a unit that forms a nip part with the elastic roller, and fixes a toner image carried by a recording material to the recording material while holding and conveying the recording material with the nip part.
