PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve availability by reducing the influence of heat due to a discharge current in cell balance processing and suppressing false detection of temperature.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device of an embodiment is a battery monitoring device performing the management of a battery module having a plurality of battery cells connected in series. A cell balance circuit of the battery monitoring device performs cell balance processing in which battery cells to be discharged among the plurality of battery cells are individually discharged.
