Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reading device capable of searching for tolerable depth.SOLUTION: A reader 3 includes an AF mechanism 11 for adjusting a focusing position of an optical system, an imaging element 10 for imaging a two-dimensional code 6 provided at a workpiece 2, and a decoding part 13 for decoding an image data acquired with the imaging element 10. A calculation part 23 acquires a decoding result by the decoding part 13 for each picture data that is obtained with the imaging element 10 for each adjustment amount when the adjustment amount at the AF mechanism 11 is changed at a plurality of steps. It acquires correspondence relation between the decoding result and a reading distance obtained by reducing the adjustment amount, and calculates tolerable depth based on the correspondence relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】許容深度を求めることが可能な光学的情報読取装置を提供すること。【解決手段】リーダ3は光学系の合焦位置を調整するAF機構11と、ワーク2に設けられた2次元コード6を撮像する撮像素子10と、撮像素子10により取得された画像データをデコードするデコード部13とを有している。演算部23は、AF機構11における調整量を複数通りに変化させたときに、各調整量ごとに撮像素子10により取得された各画像データについてデコード部13によるデコード結果を取得し、調整量を換算して得られる読み取り距離とデコード結果との対応関係を求め、当該対応関係に基づき許容深度を演算する。【選択図】図3 |
