Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finish rolling device for a wire or a bar steel capable of materializing high-accuracy and high-response impact drop compensation.SOLUTION: The finish rolling device for a wire or a bar steel is provided that includes a block mill having: a plurality of stands which continuously rolling material being a wire or a bar steel in one direction in a finish rolling process of a wire/bar steel rolling line; and electric motors which are respectively provided in the plurality of stands and drive the stands according to an individually calculated electric motor torque indication value. On the basis of a rolling speed of the i-th stand when a tip of the material is bitten by the i-th stand of the block mill, a deceleration torque in the i-th stand is calculated. The electric motor torque indication value to be given to the electric motor of the i+1th stand is calculated by reflecting each deceleration torque from the first stand up to the i-th stand on a torque target value of an electric motor of the i+1th stand which is set in accordance with a speed target value of the stand when the tip of the material is bitten by the i+1th stand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】この発明は、高精度、高応答なインパクトドロップ補償を実現できる線材又は棒鋼の仕上圧延装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】線材・棒鋼圧延ラインの仕上圧延工程において線材又は棒鋼である材を一方向に連続圧延する複数のスタンドと、前記複数のスタンドにそれぞれ設けられ、個別に算出される電動機トルク指示値に従ってスタンドを駆動する電動機とを有するブロックミルを備える。前記材の先端が前記ブロックミルの第iスタンドに噛み込まれる時に前記第iスタンドの圧延速度に基づいて、前記第iスタンドにおける減速トルクを算出する。前記材の先端が第i+1スタンドに噛み込まれる時のスタンドの速度目標値に応じて設定される前記第i+1スタンドの電動機のトルク目標値に、前記第1スタンドから前記第iスタンドまでの各減速トルクを反映して、前記第i+1スタンドの電動機に与える電動機トルク指示値を算出する。【選択図】図4
