Summary:SOLUTION: A medical device 1 that expands a stenosis lesion part by thermal denaturation comprises: a balloon catheter 3 of which tip end is provided with a balloon 3a; a laser oscillator 5 that oscillates laser light; and a catheter fiber 6 that is arranged inside the balloon catheter 3 and guides the laser light to the balloon 3a. There is provided connection means 7 formed of a holding member 41 that holds an incident part 6a of the catheter fiber 6, moving means 42 that moves the holding member 41, and cleaning means 43 that cleans an incidence plane of the catheter fiber 6. When the cleaning means 43 cleans the incidence plane of the catheter fiber 6, the moving means 42 moves the incident part 6a to a connector 8 to connect them.EFFECT: To prevent damage on an incidence plane or adhesion of a dirt that occur when connecting an incident part of a catheter fiber with a connector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【解決手段】 狭窄病変部位を熱変成させて拡張させる医療装置1は、先端にバルーン3aの設けられたバルーンカテーテル3と、レーザ光を発振するレーザ発振器5と、上記バルーンカテーテル3の内部に配設されて上記バルーン3aまでレーザ光を導光するカテーテルファイバー6とを備えている。上記カテーテルファイバー6の入射部6aを保持する保持部材41と、当該保持部材41を移動させる移動手段42と、上記カテーテルファイバー6の入射面を清掃する清掃手段43とからなる接続手段7を設け、清掃手段43がカテーテルファイバー6の入射面を清掃すると、上記移動手段42が上記入射部6aをコネクタ8まで移動させてこれらを接続させるようになっている。【効果】 カテーテルファイバーの入射部をコネクタに接続する際に生じる、入射面の損傷や汚れの付着を防ぐことができる。【選択図】 図3
