PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for reducing the amount of continuous forms to be ejected in performing temperature control of a fuser.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus that performs temperature control of a fuser before and after printing while conveying a medium to pass through the fuser, the fuser includes a fixing member that heats a developer to be fixed to the medium, and has a temperature control part that controls heating of the fixing member, a conveying member that conveys the medium to pass through the fuser, and a conveyance control part that controls the conveyance speed of the medium by the conveying member.
