Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reducer failure state notification device capable of providing accurate notification of a failure state of a speed reducer even if use conditions are different.SOLUTION: A speed reducer failure state notification device for providing notification of a failure state of a speed reducer of an industrial robot includes: a speed reducer; and a lubricant deterioration sensor having a clearance forming member, in which an oil clearance arranged on an optical path from a white LED to an RGB sensor, is formed to transmit light, where the oil clearance is a clearance for lubricant of the speed reducer to enter. A threshold is set (S226) in response to the inputted temperature (S222) of the lubricant. When color difference E (S227) between color detected by the RGB sensor and black color reaches the threshold (Yes in S228 and No in S229, or Yes in S228 and Yes in S229), notification is provided of the failure state of the speed reducer corresponding to the threshold (S230 and S231).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 【課題】 減速機の使用条件が異なる場合であっても減速機の破損の状態を精度良く通知することができる減速機破損状態通知装置を提供する。【解決手段】 減速機と、減速機の潤滑油が侵入するための隙間であって白色LEDからRGBセンサーまでの光路上に配置されている油用隙間が形成されていて光を透過させる隙間形成部材を備えている潤滑油劣化センサーとを備えている産業用ロボットの減速機の破損の状態を通知するための減速機破損状態通知装置は、入力された潤滑油の温度(S222)に応じた閾値を設定し(S226)、RGBセンサーによって検出された色と黒色との色差ΔE(S227)が閾値に達した場合に(S228でYESおよびS229でNO、S228でYESおよびS229でYES、)、この閾値に対応する減速機の破損の状態を通知する(S230、S231)ことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図14
