Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister capable of dispensing with a need to change setting of a large capacity chamber and a length of a purge pipe, reducing noise resulting from intake air pulsation, and yet preventing entry of a foreign object and a liquid from outside.SOLUTION: This invention concerns a canister in which an inlet port into which evaporative fuel flows, a purge port supplying the evaporative fuel to an internal combustion engine, and air inlet port open to the atmosphere are provided in a canister body including an adsorbent that can adsorb and desorb the evaporative fuel, comprises an atmosphere release cap that includes an inner cylinder portion attached to the air inlet port, a lid portion disposed to surround the inner cylinder portion, and an elastic member coupling the inner cylinder portion to the lid portion, the lid portion of the atmosphere release cap being supported by the inner cylinder portion attached to the air inlet port to be deformable by the elastic member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】この発明は、大きな容積室の設定やパージ配管長さの変更を必要とすることなく、吸気の脈動に起因する騒音を低減し、さらに、外部からの異物・液体の侵入を防止することができるキャニスタを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】この発明は、蒸発燃料を吸着離脱可能な吸着材を内蔵したキャニスタ本体に、蒸発燃料が流入する流入ポートと蒸発燃料を内燃機関へ供給するパージポートと大気に開放された空気導入ポートとを備えたキャニスタにおいて、空気導入ポートに取り付けられる内筒部と、内筒部を取り囲んで配置される蓋部と、内筒部と蓋部とを連結する弾性部材とを有する大気開放キャップを備え、大気開放キャップは空気導入ポートに取り付けられた内筒部に蓋部が弾性部材により変位可能に支持されることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
