Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device capable of suppressing an output fluctuation in an electric motor.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device comprises: an oil pump supplying oil to an electric motor; an oil cooler provided in an oil passage; a bypass passage bypassing the oil cooler; a control valve switched over between a first state of restricting a flow of the oil in the oil cooler and a second state of allowing the oil to flow to the oil cooler; and a control unit, the control unit controlling the control valve to be switched to the first state while a temperature of the circulated oil is lower than a predetermined value and controlling the control valve to be switched to the second state if the temperature of the circulated oil is equal to or higher than the predetermined value, and controlling a voltage command value v of the electric motor to be smaller than a voltage command value vd in response to a demanded output Pd after passage of a predetermined period PE1 since switchover of the control valve to the second state. 【課題】電動機の出力変動を抑制することができる車両用駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動機にオイルを供給するオイルポンプと、油路に設けられたオイルクーラと、オイルクーラをバイパスするバイパス油路と、オイルがオイルクーラを流れることを規制する第一状態と、オイルをオイルクーラに流す第二状態とに切り替わる制御弁とを備え、制御部は、循環させているオイルの温度が所定値未満である間は制御弁を第一状態とし、かつ循環させているオイルの温度が所定値以上となると制御弁を第二状態とし、制御弁を第二状態としてから所定期間PE1の経過後に、電動機の電圧指令値vを要求出力Pdに応じた電圧指令値vdよりも小さくする。【選択図】図5
