Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating meat production traits of swine using a polymorphism on swine genome.SOLUTION: A genome-wide association analysis for a swine genome by SNP is performed and a plurality of SNPs having a statistically significant relation to meat production traits, such as growth (mean increased body weight per day, or the like.), meat quality (intramuscular fat ratio or the like) have been novelly found out. By determining the base type/amino acid type of these SNPs, the meat production traits of the subject swine can be evaluated efficiently.
【課題】ブタゲノム上の多型を利用したブタの産肉形質評価方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】ブタゲノムを対象としたSNPによるゲノムワイド関連解析を行い、成長性(1日平均増体量等)や肉質(筋肉内脂肪割合等)等の産肉形質と統計的に有意な関係にある複数のSNPを新規に見出すことに成功した。これらのSNPの塩基種/アミノ酸種を決定することにより、被験ブタの産肉形質の評価を効率的に実施することができる。【選択図】なし |
