Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reduction in the performance of access to a virtual storage area at a data storage destination in the case where the virtual address of the virtual storage area is allocated to the physical address of a physical storage area.SOLUTION: The present invention is a storage management device for allocating the physical address of a physical storage area to the virtual address of a virtual storage area 20 at a data storage destination, the device having: a setting unit for setting a contiguous area 20b consisting of a plurality of contiguous physical addresses in the physical storage area, and setting, on the basis of the virtual address allocated first to the physical addresses in the set contiguous area 20b, an allocation range for the virtual addresses to be allocated to the set contiguous area 20b; and an allocation unit for allocating the physical addresses of the set contiguous area 20b to the virtual addresses in the set allocation range.
