Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind vane capable of detecting the wind direction of light wind.SOLUTION: A wind vane 1 comprises a plurality of sensors 2 as follows, and a control unit 3. Each of the sensors 2 includes: one surface 2a; and first and second interlayer connection members 21a and 21b formed of different metals or semiconductors. Each sensor 2 further includes a thermoelectric transducer 21 generating an electric output when a temperature difference is generated between one end 21aa or 21ba and the other end 21ab or 21bb of each of the first and second interlayer connection members 21a and 21b. Each sensor 2 generates an electric output when surrounding air whose temperature is changed by a heater 22 is moved by wind and the temperature difference is generated between one end 21aa or 21ba and the other end 21ab or 21bb of each of the first and second interlayer connection members 21a and 21b. The control unit 3 calculates a wind direction of the wind on the basis of this output difference. The wind vane 1 can, therefore, detect the wind direction of light wind. 【課題】微弱な風の風向の検出が可能な風向計を提供する。【解決手段】風向計1は、以下の複数のセンサ2と制御部3を有する。センサ2は、一面2aを有し、互いに異なる金属もしくは半導体で構成された第1、2層間接続部材21a21bを有する。また、第1、2層間接続部材21a、21bのそれぞれの一端21aa、21baと他端21ab、21bbとで温度差が生じたときに電気的な出力を発生させる熱電変換素子21を備える。そして、センサ2は、ヒータ22によって温度を変化させられた周囲の空気が風により移動させられて、第1、2層間接続部材21a、21bの一端21aa、21baと他端21ab、21bbとで温度差が生じたときに電気的な出力を発生させる。制御部3は、この出力の差に基づいて風の風向を算出する。このため、この風向計1では、微弱な風の風向の検出が可能となる。【選択図】図1
