Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small power supply circuit for railway vehicle capable of preventing inrush current at power supply start with a small cost.SOLUTION: The power supply circuit for railway vehicle is constituted of: a step up/down chopper circuit 2; a bypass relay 4; and an insulated switching power supply 3. Even when the DC input voltage is in a predetermined voltage range and a bypass mode is selected, when starting the power supply circuit for railway vehicle, the step up/down chopper circuit 2 is operated with a low voltage and a smoothing capacitor 5 is charged. With this, an inrush current at connecting the bypass relay 4 is prevented when starting the power supply; and thus, a small size power supply circuit for railway vehicle is achieved at low cost. 【課題】電源起動時の突入電流を抑制し、小型、低コストな鉄道車両用電源回路を提供する。【解決手段】鉄道車両用電源回路は、昇降圧チョッパ回路2と、バイパスリレー4と、絶縁型スイッチング電源3から構成される。直流入力電圧が所定の電圧範囲内でありバイパスモードが選択される場合でも、鉄道車両用電源回路の起動時には、昇降圧チョッパ回路2を降圧動作させて平滑コンデンサ5を充電する。これによって、電源起動時におけるバイパスリレー4の接続時の突入電流を抑制し、小型、低コストな鉄道車両用電源回路を提供することができる。【選択図】図1
