Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camshaft bearing structure capable of suppressing the subsequent deformation of a journal hole even a cylinder head is deformed.SOLUTION: A camshaft bearing structure comprises a bearing portion 4 in which a journal hole 1 formed by an upper portion of a cylinder head 5 and a cam cap 6 assembled with the upper portion rotatably supports each of an exhaust camshaft 2 and an intake camshaft 3 and in which a pin ring 16 determining an assembly position of each of the camshafts 2, 3 is press-fitted into the cylinder head 5 and the cam cap 6. In this bearing portion 4, the pin ring 16 is provided only in an inner portion 14 located between an axis L of each of the camshafts 2, 3 and a center 13 of the upper portion of the cylinder head 5. 【課題】シリンダヘッドが変形した場合でも、それに伴うジャーナル孔の変形を抑制できるカムシャフトの軸受け構造を提供する。【解決手段】カムシャフトの軸受け構造は、シリンダヘッド5の上部と同上部に組み付けられるカムキャップ6とによって形成されるジャーナル孔1により排気カムシャフト2及び吸気カムシャフト3をそれぞれ回転可能に支持するとともに、シリンダヘッド5及びカムキャップ6に両者の組み付け位置を決めるピンリング16がそれぞれ圧入された軸受け部4を備えている。そして、この軸受け部4において、ピンリング16を各カムシャフト2,3の軸線Lとシリンダヘッド5の上部の中央13との間に位置する内側部分14にのみ設けるようにした。【選択図】図1
