Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater element capable of preventing the appearance of an arrangement portion from being reduced even if the heater element is arranged while being bent in a product portion such as a ring part of a steering wheel.SOLUTION: A cord-shaped heater 1 in a predetermined pattern shape disposed between two substrates 10A and 10B each formed from a foamed polyurethane resin is disposed so as to be held between the two substrates 10A and 10B by heating compression while interposing an adhesive for mutually adhering the substrates between the substrates. For a heater element 20, a thickness dimension tH0 after the heating compression is set to exceed 1.0 mm. A weight per unit area in a non-arrangement part 22 where the cord-shaped heater is not arranged, is settled within a range of 0.016 to 0.040 g/cmexcluding the weight for the adhesive. 【課題】ステアリングホイールのリング部等の製品部位に曲げて配設しても、配設部位の外観の低下を抑制できるヒータエレメントを提供すること。【解決手段】発泡ポリウレタン樹脂からなる二枚の基材10A,10Bの間に配置させた所定パターン形状のコード状ヒータ1を、基材相互を接着させる粘着剤を基材間に介在させつつ、加熱圧縮により、二枚の基材10A,10Bの間に挟持させるように配設させてなる。ヒータエレメント20は、加熱圧縮後の厚さ寸法tH0を1.0mmを超える厚さ寸法とし、かつ、コード状ヒータの配設されていない非配設部22での単位面積当たりの重量を、粘着剤分の重量を除いて、0.016〜0.040g/cm2の範囲内、として構成されている。【選択図】図6
