Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which makes visual recognition of an information code in a normal time and recognition of the information code by a common reader difficult and can surely read the information code in the case of using a specific reader.SOLUTION: An information code reading system 1 includes first coloring means and second coloring means, the first coloring means forms a first coloring region at a position to be a light color module in an information code formation object region of a recording paper P (recording medium), and the second coloring means does not form a second coloring region at the position to be the light color module in the information code formation object region but forms the second coloring region at a position to be a dark color module in the information code formation object region. The first coloring region is a region that shows a reflection characteristic of dark color when visible light is irradiated and shows a reflection characteristic of light color when infrared light is irradiated, and the second coloring region is a region that shows a reflection characteristic of dark color when the visible light is irradiated and shows a reflection characteristic of dark light when the infrared light is irradiated. 【課題】通常時の情報コードの視認及び一般的な読取装置による情報コードの認識を困難とし、特定の読取装置を用いた場合には確実に読み取ることが可能な構成を提供する。【解決手段】情報コード読取システム1は、第1着色手段及び第2着色手段を備えており、第1着色手段は、記録紙P(記録媒体)の情報コード形成対象領域において明色モジュールとなるべき位置に第1着色領域を形成し、第2着色手段は、情報コード形成対象領域において明色モジュールとなるべき位置に第2着色領域を形成せず、暗色モジュールとなるべき位置に第2着色領域を形成している。第1着色領域は、可視光が照射される時に暗色の反射特性を示し且つ赤外光が照射される時に明色の反射特性を示す領域とされ、第2着色領域は、可視光が照射される時に暗色の反射特性を示し且つ赤外光が照射される時に暗色の反射特性を示す領域とされている。【選択図】図1
