Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a rod-like light guide body receiving thermal damage through an incident surface.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting fixture 10 includes: a transparent rod-like light guide body 11 having an incident surface 12 of light at an end surface; and a light source 13 arranged in a state of being opposed to the incident surface 12 of the rod-like light guide body 11, and for generating heat to equal to or higher than a softening point of the rod-like light guide body 11. The vehicular lighting fixture 10 makes the light emitted by the light source 13 incident from the incident surface 12 to the rod-like light guide body 11, and makes the rod-like light guide body 11 emit light in a linear manner. In this vehicular lighting fixture 10, a transparent heat insulation part 18 is arranged between the light source 13 and the incident surface 12 of the rod-like light guide body 11. 【課題】入射面を通じて棒状導光体が熱ダメージを受けるのを抑制する。【解決手段】車両用灯具10は、光の入射面12を端面に有する透明な棒状導光体11と、棒状導光体11の入射面12に対向させられた状態で配置され、かつ棒状導光体11の軟化点以上に発熱する光源13とを備える。車両用灯具10は、光源13が発する光を入射面12から棒状導光体11に入射させて、同棒状導光体11を線状に発光させる。このような車両用灯具10にあって、光源13と棒状導光体11の入射面12との間に透明な断熱部18を配置する。【選択図】図1
