Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm unit which includes operation means capable of turning on/off sound and which allows a user to stop output of sound by manipulating the operation means.SOLUTION: When a microcomputer 4 detects an abnormality, it generates a sound alarm and an indicator alarm to that effect. A sound switch 13 can perform a switching operation between an ON-side and an OFF-side, and when a state in which no abnormality is detected has changed to a state in which an abnormality is detected, the microcomputer 4, irrespective of the position of the sound switch 13, generates both of the sound alarm and the indicator alarm. Also, when a switching operation from an ON-position to an OFF-position has been performed on the sound switch 13 during alarm generation, the microcomputer 4 stops the sound alarm and continues the indicator alarm. 【課題】音声をオンオフできる操作手段を備え、その操作手段を操作することで音声の出力を停止することができる警報器を提供する。【解決手段】マイコン４は、異常を検出すると、その旨の音声警報及び表示警報を発生する。音声スイッチ１３は、ＯＮ側とＯＦＦ側との間で切替操作できるものであり、マイコン４は、音声スイッチ１３の位置に関係なく、異常を検出していない状態から異常を検出した状態に変化すると、音声警報と表示警報との双方の警報を発生させる。また、マイコン４は、警報発生中に、音声スイッチ１３がオン位置からオフ位置への切替操作が行われると、音声警報を停止して表示警報を継続する。【選択図】図１
