Power is supplied to the microcomputer 4 from a battery 12. A power supply switch 13 is a switch capable of performing a switching operation between an ON-side and an OFF-side. When the switching operation from the OFF-side to the ON-side of the power supply switch 13 is performed in a state where power is not supplied to the microcomputer 4 from the battery 12, a self holding circuit 14 starts power supply with respect to the microcomputer 4, and after that, the power supply to the microcomputer 4 continues even when the switching operation of the power supply switch 13 is performed from the ON-side to the OFF-side. 【課題】使用者に電源スイッチをオフ側に設定されても電源が切れずに、異常検出、警報発生動作を継続することができる警報器を提供する。【解決手段】マイコン4は、異常を検出すると、その旨を発生する。このマイコン4には、電池12からの電源が供給されている。電源スイッチ13は、ON側とOFF側との間で切替操作できるスイッチである。自己保持回路14は、マイコン4に対して電池12からの電源が供給されていない状態で、電源スイッチ13のOFF側からON側への切替操作を行うと、マイコン4に対して電源供給を開始し、その後、電源スイッチ13のON側からOFF側への切替操作を行ってもマイコン4に対する電源供給が継続される。【選択図】図1
