Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel drive unit which is high in quality and excellent in durability by improving lubrication performance in a reduction gear part.SOLUTION: An in-wheel drive unit 21 comprises a motor part A, a reduction gear part B, a wheel bearing part C, a casing 22, and a lubrication mechanism which supplies lubricants to the motor part A and the reduction gear part B. A rotating shaft 24 of the motor part A rotationally drives a reduction gear input shaft 25 having eccentric parts 25a, 25b, the reduction gear part B decelerates the rotation of the reduction gear input shaft 25 and transmits the rotation to a reduction gear output shaft 28, and the wheel bearing part C is connected to the reduction gear output shaft 28. The lubrication mechanism comprises an oil passage 22b of the reduction gear part B for discharging the lubricant in the reduction gear part B to the motor part A, and an oil passage 22f of the motor part A for discharging the lubricant in the motor part A to an oil tank 22d together with the lubricant from the reduction gear part B. A partitioning part 80 which introduces the lubricant from the reduction gear part B to the oil passage 22f is arranged at the motor part A. 【課題】 減速機部での潤滑性能を改善することにより、高品質で耐久性に優れたインホイールモータ駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】 モータ部Aと、減速機部Bと、車輪用軸受部Cと、ケーシング22と、モータ部Aおよび減速機部Bに潤滑油を供給する潤滑機構とを備え、モータ部Aのモータ回転軸24が偏心部25a,25bを有する減速機入力軸25を回転駆動し、減速機部Bが減速機入力軸25の回転を減速して減速機出力軸28に伝達し、車輪用軸受部Cが減速機出力軸28に連結されたインホイールモータ駆動装置21であって、潤滑機構は、減速機部Bの内部の潤滑油をモータ部Aに排出する減速機部Bの油路22bと、モータ部Aの内部の潤滑油を減速機部Bからの潤滑油と共に油タンク22dに排出するモータ部Aの油路22fとを備え、減速機部Bからの潤滑油をモータ部Aの油路22fに誘導する仕切板80をモータ部Aに設ける。【選択図】 図1
