PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proteases useful for cleaning stained fabric (such as blood stain), and cleaning and/or treating compositions comprising the proteases, as well as use methods of the treating compositions.SOLUTION: Provided is a cleaning and/or treating composition (commercial product) comprising an isolated subtilisin variant and an adjunct material, where the subtilisin variant is a mature form having proteolytic activity, whose amino acid sequence includes a combination of amino acid substitutions at positions selected from a specified amino acid sequence, which positions are numbered according to the numbering of corresponding amino acid positions of the amino acid sequence of subtilisin BPN' of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.
