PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper hardly generating abrasion of sheet during printing and exhibiting good trafficability during printing.SOLUTION: The invention relates to paper containing pulp and an inorganic filler, the content of the inorganic filler is 2 to 40 mass% based on the total mass of the pulp, the inorganic filler contains talc, the content of the talc is 10 to 100 mass% based on the total mass of the inorganic filler and the content of quartz to the total mass of the talc is 1.2 mass% or less. 【課題】本発明は、印刷時の版の摩耗を引き起こさない紙であって、印刷時に良好な走行性を発揮する紙を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明は、パルプと無機填料を含有する紙であって、無機填料の含有量は、パルプの全質量に対して２〜４０質量％であり、無機填料はタルクを含有し、タルクの含有量は、無機填料の全質量に対して１０〜１００質量％であり、タルクの全質量に対する石英の含有量が１．２質量％以下であることを特徴とする紙に関する。【選択図】なし
