A POS register device 2 comprises: an input/output part 3 for inputting a value of deposit by manual input; a deposit and withdrawal of money control part 4a for calculating a change being a difference value between an inputted deposit value 6a which is inputted by manual input by the input/output part 3 and a purchase value of the customer and instructing the coin processor to withdraw; a memory 6 for holding the inputted deposit value 6a; a collation instruction control part 4b for instructing a collation start timing for making a state of the coin processor 1 into a deposit permission state; and a collation control part 4c for receiving the instruction of the collation start timing from the collation instruction control part 4b, and making the coin processor execute deposit taking-in of the temporarily held deposit and counting, and performing collation processing whether or not, the counted deposit value 6b and a total value of the inputted deposit value 6a until now, match or not. 【課題】精算時の現金過不足を削減しつつ、各顧客との取引処理時間を短くすること。【解決手段】貨幣処理機1は、顧客からの預り金を一時保持する硬貨投入口及び紙幣投入口を備え、POSレジスタ装置2は、預り金金額を手入力する入出力部3と、入出力部3によって手入力された入力預り金金額6aと顧客の購入金額との差額である釣銭を計算し、貨幣処理機1に対して出金指示を行う入出金制御部4aと、入力預り金金額6aを保持するメモリ6と、貨幣処理機1を入金許可状態にする照合開始タイミングを指示する照合指示制御部4bと、照合指示制御部4bからの照合開始タイミングの指示を受けて、貨幣処理機1に対して、一時保持された預り金の入金取り込み及び計数を行わせ、計数した計数預り金金額6bと現在までの入力預り金金額6aの合計値とが一致するか否かの照合処理を行う照合制御部4cと、を備える。【選択図】図5
