Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which secures a water supply flow rate by quickly removing air inside a water supply hose.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a drum 3 for accommodating laundry; an outer tub 2 for including the drum 3 in a rotatable manner; a motor 4 for rotating the drum 3; a water supply valve 1 for supplying water to the inside of the outer tub 2 by connecting a city water faucet 12 and a water supply hose 10; water level detection means 9 for detecting a water level inside the outer tub 2; and control means 8 for controlling the motor 4, the water supply valve 1 and the like, and for sequentially controlling a series of steps of washing, rinsing and dewatering. The control means 8, in a water supply step, performs water supply by opening/closing the water supply valve 1 for a predetermined number of times, so that even when air remains in the water supply hose 10, a water supply flow rate can be secured by quickly removing the air. 【課題】給水ホース内の空気を素早く抜いて給水流量を確保する洗濯機を提供すること。【解決手段】洗濯物を収容するドラム3と、ドラム3を回転自在に内包した外槽2と、ドラム3を回転するためのモータ4と、水道蛇口12と給水ホース10で接続して外槽2内に給水する給水弁1と、外槽2内の水位を検知する水位検出手段9と、モータ4、給水弁1などを制御し、洗い、すすぎ、脱水の一連の行程を逐次制御する制御手段8とを備え、制御手段8は、給水工程において、給水弁1を所定回数開閉させて給水を行なうことにより、給水ホース10内に空気が残っている場合でも、空気をより早く抜いて給水流量を確保することができる。【選択図】図1
