PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel material useful for cosmetics, foods, and the like.SOLUTION: The invention provides a yeast culture obtained by culturing yeast in a culture medium containing hyaluronic acids selected from the group consisting of a hyaluronic acid, hyaluronic acid derivatives, and salts thereof. The present invention provides a novel material which can be used as cosmetics, external preparations for skin, foods, or pharmaceuticals. The invention also provides moisturizing and/or whitening agents which contain a hyaluronic acid fermentation product of yeast as an active ingredient. 【課題】化粧品・食品等に有用な新規な素材を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】酵母の培養物であって、酵母を、ヒアルロン酸、ヒアルロン酸誘導体およびそれらの塩からなる群より選択されるヒアルロン酸類を含有する培地で培養して得られたことを特徴とする、培養物を提供する。本発明により、化粧料、皮膚外用剤、食品または医薬品として用いることができる新たな素材が提供される。本発明はまた、酵母のヒアルロン酸類発酵物を有効成分とする、保湿および／または美白のための剤も提供する。【選択図】なし
