Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for air bags that is excellent in flame retardancy.SOLUTION: A base fabric for air bags is formed by applying an aqueous resin composition containing an aqueous resin emulsion (A) and melamine cyanurate (B) to a woven fabric and drying and solidifying resin composition. The aqueous resin emulsion (A) contains polymer particles (S1) formed by polymerizing (meth)acrylic acid alkyl and (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of an emulsifier, and polymer particles (S2) formed by polymerizing (meth)acrylic acid alkyl, (meth)acrylic acid, and styrene in the presence of an emulsifier. The glass transition temperature of the polymer particles (S1) is -70°C to -10°C, and the glass transition temperature of the polymer particles (S2) is 0-30°C. The melamine cyanurate (B) is added to and mixed with the aqueous resin emulsion (A) to produce the aqueous resin composition, which is applied to the woven fabric. 【課題】 難燃性に優れているエアバッグ用基布を提供する。【解決手段】 このエアバッグ用基布は、水性樹脂エマルジョン(A)とメラミンシアヌレート(B)を含有する水性樹脂組成物が織物生地に塗布され乾燥固化されてなる。水性樹脂エマルジョン(A)は、乳化剤の存在下で(メタ)アクリル酸アルキル及び(メタ)アクリル酸を重合してなる重合体粒子(S1)と、乳化剤の存在下で(メタ)アクリル酸アルキル、(メタ)アクリル酸及びスチレンを重合してなる重合体粒子(S2)とを含むものである。重合体粒子(S1)のガラス転移温度は−70℃〜−10℃であり、重合体粒子(S2)のガラス転移温度は0〜30℃である。水性樹脂エマルジョン(A)にメラミンシアヌレート(B)が添加配合されて水性樹脂組成物となり、これが織物生地に塗布される。【選択図】 なし
