Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately stabilize a flotation amount of an object to be transported on a virtual high accuracy floating line.SOLUTION: A floating transportation device 1 comprises a transportation rail 2, which transports an object to be transported in a transportation direction X in a non-contact manner. The transportation rail 2 includes a transportation surface 20 which is provided with multiple hole arrays 21 arranged in the transportation direction X. In the hole array 21, gas supply holes 22 ejecting gas, and vacuum holes 23 sucking gas are arranged alternately at a predetermined interval in a direction perpendicular to the transportation direction X. A virtual high accuracy floating line L is configured to be in a direction perpendicular to the transportation direction X; positioned above a space between neighboring predetermined hole arrays 21a and 21b of the hole arrays 21 aligned in the transportation direction X. In addition, at least, the gas supply holes 22 and the vacuum holes 23 respectively constituting the hole arrays 21a and 21b, are arranged line-symmetrically with respect to the virtual high accuracy floating line L. 【課題】仮想高精度浮上ラインにおける搬送対象物の浮上量を高精度に安定させる。【解決手段】浮上搬送装置1は、搬送対象物を搬送方向Xに非接触で搬送する搬送用レール2を備える。搬送用レール2は、気体を噴出する給気孔22および気体を吸引するバキューム孔23が搬送方向Xに対して垂直な方向に一定間隔で交互に配置された孔アレイ21が、搬送方向Xに複数配列された搬送面20を備えており、搬送方向Xに対して垂直な方向に沿って設定された仮想高精度浮上ラインLが、搬送方向Xに複数配列された孔アレイ21のうち、所定の隣接する孔アレイ21aと孔アレイ21bとの間の上方に位置し、かつ、少なくともこれらの孔アレイ21a、21b各々を構成する給気孔22およびバキューム孔23が仮想高精度浮上ラインLに対して線対称となるように配置されている。【選択図】図1
