Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing tire weight and achieving both steering stability and low fuel consumption performance.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire including a tread part 1, sidewall parts 2, and bead parts 3, provided with at least one carcass layer 4 between a pair of the bead parts 3 and 3. The pneumatic tire makes a ratio (SW/OD) between a tire total width SW and a tire outer diameter OD satisfy a relationship of SW/OD≤0.3; a first region A is partitioned by and between a pair of first border lines L1 and L1; a second region B is partitioned by and between the first border line L1 and a second border line L2; and a third region C is partitioned to a bead toe side other than the second border line L2. Assuming that the cross-sectional area (mm) of the first region A, the second region B, or the third region C is SA, SB or SC, respectively, and a periphery length (mm) along the tire inner surface of the first region A, the second region B, or the third region C is a, b or c, respectively, a ratio SA/a satisfies a relationship of 7.5≤SA/a≤11.5, and a ground contact groove area ratio GR in a ground contact region of the tread part 1 is 25% or less. 【課題】 タイヤ重量を低減し、操縦安定性と低燃費性能とを両立することを可能にした空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】 トレッド部1とサイドウォール部2とビード部3とを備え、該一対のビード部3,3間に少なくとも1層のカーカス層4を装架した空気入りタイヤにおいて、タイヤ総幅SWとタイヤ外径ODとの比SW/ODがSW/OD 0.3の関係を満足すると共に、一対の第一境界線L1,L1の相互間に第一領域Aを区分し、第一境界線L1と第二境界線L2との間に第二領域Bを区分し、第二境界線L2よりもビードトウ側に第三領域Cを区分し、第一領域A乃至第三領域Cの断面積(mm2)をそれぞれSA,SB,SCとし、第一領域A乃至第三領域Cのタイヤ内面に沿ったペリフェリ長さ(mm)をそれぞれa,b,cとしたとき、比SA/aについて7.5 SA/a 11.5の関係を満足し、トレッド部1の接地領域における溝面積比率GRが25%以下である。【選択図】 図2
