Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the state of force to a housing from the outside using a plurality of force sensors for supporting a panel.SOLUTION: A touch input device detects each of a plurality of measurement values showing force applied to a plurality of force sensors 130 on the basis of outputs of the plurality of force sensors 130, calculates pressing force and pressed coordinates on the basis of the plurality of measurement values, calculates a plurality of estimation values showing each of the force applied to the plurality of force sensors 130 under the assumption that the pressing force is applied to the pressed coordinates, and recognizes the state of deformation of a panel 120 on the basis of the plurality of measurement values and the plurality of estimation values. 【課題】パネルを支持する複数の力センサを用いて、外部から筐体への力の状態を認識する。【解決手段】タッチ入力装置は、複数の力センサ130の出力に基づいて、複数の力センサに加わる力を示す複数の測定値を夫々検出し、複数の測定値に基づいて押圧力及び押圧座標を算出し、押圧力が押圧座標に加わるとの仮定の下、複数の力センサ130に加わる力を夫々示す複数の推定値を算出し、複数の測定値及び複数の推定値に基づいて、パネル120の変形の状態を認識する。【選択図】図1
