Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper damper capable of simply and surely being fixed into a hollow tube.SOLUTION: A paper damper 10A inserted into a propeller shaft (hollow pipe) comprises a cylindrical body 20 around which cardboard P is wound into a cylindrical shape. The cylindrical body 20 includes a spiral peripheral wall part 11, and a radial wall part 12 extending from an edge part 11a on the inner peripheral side of the peripheral wall part 11 to the radial direction of the peripheral wall part 11. A length from the tip of the radial wall part 12 to the base end part thereof is formed so as to be larger than the inner diameter of the peripheral wall part 11 in a state of being inserted into the propeller shaft. 【課題】中空管内に簡単かつ確実に固定することができるペーパーダンパを提供する。【解決手段】推進軸(中空管)内に挿入されるペーパーダンパ10Aであって、厚紙Pを筒状に巻いた筒状体20からなる。筒状体20は、渦巻き状の周壁部11と、周壁部11の内周側の縁部11aから周壁部11の径方向に延びた径方向壁部12と、を備えている。そして、径方向壁部12の先端部から基端部までの長さは、推進軸内に挿入した状態の周壁部11の内径よりも大きく形成されている。【選択図】図2
