PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cell activation promoter composition having higher skin-beautifying effect than that of the conventional biogenic collagen synthesis promoter composition comprising plant extract.SOLUTION: A skin cell activation promoter composition comprises extract from plants of the genus Pfaffia, the family Amaranthaceae which have collagen synthesis promoting action as an essential component, and also comprises, in addition to the essential component, animal-derived collagen peptides singly, or animal-derived N-acetylglucosamine singly, or both of the animal-derived collagen peptides and the animal-derived N-acetylglucosamine in combination. 【課題】 従来の植物抽出物を配合した生体コラーゲン合成促進剤組成物よりも高い美肌効果を有する皮膚細胞活性化促進剤組成物を提供する。【解決手段】 皮膚細胞活性化促進剤組成物は、コラーゲン合成促進作用を有するヒユ科パフィア属の植物抽出物を必須成分とし、該必須成分に動物由来コラーゲンペプチドを単独で、あるいは動物由来Ｎ−アセチルグルコサミンを単独で、あるいは動物由来コラーゲンペプチドと動物由来Ｎ−アセチルグルコサミンとの両方を配合して得られたものである。【選択図】 なし
