Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of producing renewed elastomer which is derived from renewed rubber and retains uncured and cured chemical and mechanical characteristics that are virtually the same as virgin rubber.SOLUTION: A method comprises: blending a micronized rubber powder with a thiuram sulfide compound as a functionalizing agent and a guanidine compound as a processing aid; processing the blended mixture under conditions of high shear and low temperature to produce a reacted mixture; and adding a stabilizer to the reacted mixture to produce renewed rubber. 【課題】再生ゴムから誘導され、バージンゴムと実質的に同じ未硬化及び硬化化学ならびに機械的特徴を保持している再生エラストマーの製造方法。【解決手段】微粉化ゴム粉末を官能化剤としての、チウラムスルフィド化合物、及び加工助剤としての、グアニジン化合物とをブレンドし、ブレンド混合物を高剪断及び低温条件下で加工して反応混合物を製造し、安定剤を反応混合物に添加して再生ゴムを製造する方法。【選択図】図1
