Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor generator capable of simplifying a post-stage processing circuit and improving detection accuracy by suppressing influences caused by a peripheral magnetic circuit or an external magnetic field.SOLUTION: A motor generator 100 includes: a magnetic rotary sensor 30 which is disposed in an inner periphery of a stator 10 and detects a rotating position of a rotor 20; and a first protrusion 25 which is disposed in the inner periphery of the stator 10 and within an axial area of the magnetic rotary sensor 30, fixed on a rotary shaft 3 in an integrally rotatable manner and formed from a magnetic material. The magnetic rotary sensor 30 includes a first permanent magnet 32 exerting a magnetic field upon the first protrusion 25, and a Hall element 33 for converting a magnetic field change caused by the first permanent magnet 32 into an electric signal. A stator core 11 forms a part of a magnetic circuit outgoing from the first permanent magnet 32 and returning to the first permanent magnet 32. 【課題】この発明は、後段の処理回路の簡素化を可能とするとともに、周辺の磁気回路や外部磁界による影響を抑制し、検出精度を高めることができるモータジェネレータを得る。【解決手段】モータジェネレータ100は、ステータ10の内周に配置され、ロータ20の回転位置を検出する磁気式回転センサ30と、ステータ10の内周に、かつ磁気式回転センサ30の軸方向領域内に配置され、回転軸3に一体に回転可能に固定された、磁性材料からなる第1凸部25と、を備え、磁気式回転センサ30は、第1凸部25に磁界を及ぼす第1永久磁石32と、第1永久磁石32による磁界の変化を電気信号に変換するホール素子33と、を備え、ステータコア11が、第1永久磁石32から出て第1永久磁石32に戻る磁気回路の一部を構成している。【選択図】図2
