Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job processor etc., capable of accepting an image data transmission job or a reception job that only the job processor can perform without keeping a user who issued the job wait until downloading of firmware is completed nor discarding the job when the image data transmission job or reception job is issued to the job processor in process of downloading the firmware from outside.SOLUTION: A primary IP address of a self job processor and a secondary IP address of a selected substitute job processor are exchanged so that the substitute job processor accepts an image data transmission job or a reception job that only the self job processor can perform during downloading of firmware, and after the downloading of the firmware, the exchanged IP addresses are exchanged again to be put back. After the IP addresses are exchanged to be put back, the job accepted by the substitute job processor having accepted the job is received from the substitute job processor and executed. 【課題】ファームウェアをダウンロード中のジョブ処理装置に対して、このジョブ処理装置でしか行えない画像データ送信ジョブまたは受信ジョブが外部から発行された場合に、ジョブを発行したユーザーがダウンロードの完了まで待たされたりジョブが破棄されることなくジョブを受け付けることができるジョブ処理装置等を提供する。【解決手段】ファームウェアのダウンロード中に、自装置でしか行えない画像データ送信ジョブまたは受信ジョブの受付を、選択したジョブ処理装置に代行させるように、自装置のプライマリIPアドレスとジョブを代行するジョブ処理装置のセカンダリIPアドレスを交換し、ファームウェアのダウンロード後に、交換したIPアドレスを再交換して元に戻す。また、IPアドレスを交換して元に戻した後、前記ジョブの受付を代行したジョブ処理装置により受け付けられたジョブを該ジョブ処理装置から受信して実行する【選択図】 図7
