PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production route of a novel norbornane skeleton-containing (meth)acrylate, a (meth)acrylate having a low viscosity and excellent curability, and a photosensitive resin composition comprising the (meth)acrylate.SOLUTION: An ethylenic unsaturated group-containing carboxylate compound (D) is obtained by allowing an epoxy compound (B) that is prepared by epoxidation of a cyclic olefin compound (A) having a vinyl group or an aryl group represented by formula (1) to react with an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing monocarboxylic acid compound (C). In the formula, Rto Reach independently represent H or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; m is an integer of 0 to 5; and n is an integer of 0 or 1. 【課題】新規ノルボルナン骨格含有（メタ）アクリレートの製造ルート、及び、低粘度で硬化性の優れる（メタ）アクリレート及びそれを含有する感光性樹脂組成物の提供。【解決手段】式（１）で表されるビニル基又はアリル基を有する環状オレフィン化合物（Ａ）を、エポキシ化したエポキシ化合物（Ｂ）とエチレン性不飽和基含有モノカルボン酸化合物（Ｃ）を反応させたエチレン性不飽和基含有カルボキシレート化合物（Ｄ）。（Ｒ１〜Ｒ４は各々独立して、Ｈ又はＣ１〜６の炭化水素基；ｍは０〜５の整数；ｎは０又は１の整数）【選択図】なし
