Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production route of a novel norbornane skeleton-containing (meth)acrylate, a (meth)acrylate having a low viscosity and excellent curability, and a photosensitive resin composition comprising the (meth)acrylate.SOLUTION: An ethylenic unsaturated group-containing carboxylate compound (D) is obtained by allowing an epoxy compound (B) that is prepared by epoxidation of a cyclic olefin compound (A) having a vinyl group or an aryl group represented by formula (1) to react with an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing monocarboxylic acid compound (C). In the formula, Rto Reach independently represent H or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; m is an integer of 0 to 5; and n is an integer of 0 or 1.
