Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holding device of a crankshaft mirror, capable of restraining vibration of a cutter in cutting.SOLUTION: A tool holding device of a crankshaft mirror comprises a cutter adapter 7 for holding a cutter 6 which cuts a work (a crankshaft) W. The cutter adapter 7 is formed with a vibratory part 20 capable of free vibration, and the vibratory part 20 vibrates in response to vibrating of the cutter 6 during cutting of the work W, and damps vibration of the vibratory part 20 by a viscoelastic body 33. The vibratory part 20 can be formed by providing a pair of slits 22 cut in along the axial direction at an interval in the circumferential direction in a cylindrical part 7b of the cutter adapter 7.
【課題】切削時のカッタの振動を抑えることができるクランクシャフトミラーの工具保持装置を提供する。【解決手段】ワーク(クランクシャフト)Wを切削するカッタ6を保持するためのカッタアダプタ7を備えるクランクシャフトミラーの工具保持装置であって、カッタアダプタ7に、自由振動可能な可振動部20を形成して、ワークWの切削時にカッタ6が振動するに伴いその可振動部20が振動するようにし、かつ該可振動部20の振動を粘弾性体33で減衰するようにする。可振動部20は、カッタアダプタ7の円筒状部7bに、周方向に間隔をあけて軸線方向に沿って切り込まれる一対のスリット22を設けることで形成することができる。【選択図】図2 |
