Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated optical scanning unit that can prevent a reduction in the intensity and a deterioration in uniformity of light with which a document is irradiated, prevents dust and paper powder from dropping onto an optical element located below a diffuser, and allows an easy cleaning operation.SOLUTION: An integrated scanning optical unit 40 includes, inside a housing 41, an LED unit 44 as a light source and a diffuser 50 as a diffusion member. The diffuser 50 has an inclination part 50a in an area for transmitting and diffusing light from the LED unit 44, a groove part 50b at the lower edge of the inclination part 50a, and a conductive coating 50F obtained by coating a conductive paint on the surface of the diffuser 50. The conductive coating 50F is electrically connected with a ground part of the housing 41.
