PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated optical scanning unit that can prevent a reduction in the intensity and a deterioration in uniformity of light with which a document is irradiated, prevents dust and paper powder from dropping onto an optical element located below a diffuser, and allows an easy cleaning operation.SOLUTION: An integrated scanning optical unit 40 includes, inside a housing 41, an LED unit 44 as a light source and a diffuser 50 as a diffusion member. The diffuser 50 has an inclination part 50a in an area for transmitting and diffusing light from the LED unit 44, a groove part 50b at the lower edge of the inclination part 50a, and a conductive coating 50F obtained by coating a conductive paint on the surface of the diffuser 50. The conductive coating 50F is electrically connected with a ground part of the housing 41. 【課題】原稿に照射される光量の低下や均一性の劣化を防止でき、併せて拡散板の下方に位置する光学要素への塵や紙粉の落下を防ぐとともに、清掃作業を容易とすることのできる一体型光学走査ユニットを提供する。【解決手段】一体型走査光学ユニット４０は、筐体４１の内部に、光源としてのＬＥＤユニット４４と、拡散部材としての拡散板５０とを備え、この拡散板５０は、ＬＥＤユニット４４からの光を透過拡散させる領域に傾斜部５０ａを有し、この傾斜部５０ａの下縁に溝部５０ｂを有するとともに、拡散板５０の表面に導電性塗料をコーティングして成る導電性被膜５０Ｆを有し、この導電性被膜５０Ｆを筐体４１のアース部と電気的に接続するよう構成されている。【選択図】図３
