Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electromagnetic wave energy absorbed by a human body and to mitigate an impact on the human body by an antenna radiation characteristic in comparison with up to now.SOLUTION: In a mobile terminal device, a first sensor 26 is provided in the vicinity of a speaker used during communication using a telephone function, and able to detect contact or closeness of a human head. Second sensors 20 are provided at both ends in the transverse direction of a housing and able to detect a position where a hand and a finger touch. A communication control unit 38 adjusts at least one of the matching state of an antenna ANT and the transmission power of an electromagnetic wave output from the antenna ANT on the basis of detection results of the first and second sensors 26, 20. 【課題】人体に吸収される電磁波エネルギーを低減するとともに、アンテナ放射特性に対する人体の影響を従来よりも緩和する。【解決手段】携帯端末装置において、第1のセンサ26は、電話機能での通話時に使用されるスピーカの近傍に設けられ、人体頭部の接触または近接を検出することが可能である。第2のセンサ20は、筐体の短手方向の両端部に設けられ、手および指が接触する位置を検出することが可能である。通信制御部38は、第1および第2のセンサ26,20の検出結果に基づいて、アンテナANTの整合状態およびアンテナANTから出力する電磁波の送信電力の少なくとも一方を調整する。【選択図】図2
