Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector capable of detecting substances to be detected in a detectable range with a detection section even when the concentration of substances to be detected and fine particles is unstable.SOLUTION: The collector includes: a collection section that collects fine particles from an object sample which includes substances to be detected and the fine particles to obtain a collected sample; an introduction section that introduces the object sample to the collection section from an object space; a fine particle measurement section that measures the number Pn of the fine particles in the object sample introduced into the collection section; and a supply section that supplies the collected sample obtained by the collection section to a detection section for detecting the substances to be detected. In the object space, the concentration of the substances to be detected and the concentration of the fine particles have a correlation. The fine particle measurement section measures the number Pn of the fine particles when the object sample is introduced into the collection section. When the number Pn of the measured fine particles reaches a predetermined value, the supply section supplies the collected sample obtained by the collection section to the detection section. 【課題】従来の技術は、被検物質と微粒子との濃度が変化する場合では、検出部による被検物質の検出可能範囲内で、検出を実施できない。【解決手段】被検物質と微粒子とを含む対象サンプル中の前記微粒子を捕集し、捕集サンプルを得る捕集部と、対象空間から前記対象サンプルを前記捕集部に導入する導入部と、前記捕集部に導入される前記対象サンプル中の前記微粒子の数Pnを計測する微粒子計測部と、前記捕集部により得られた前記捕集サンプルを、前記被検物質を検出するための検出部に供給する供給部と、を備え、前記対象空間において、前記被検物質の濃度と前記微粒子の濃度とは、互いに相関関係にあり、前記微粒子計測部は、前記対象サンプルが前記捕集部に導入される際に、前記微粒子の数Pnを計測し、前記供給部は、計測された前記微粒子の数Pnが所定値に達した場合に、前記捕集部により得られた前記捕集サンプルを前記検出部に供給する、捕集装置。【選択図】図6
