Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a drive device for a vehicle, which can reduce the axial length of a space which a gear mechanism occupies.SOLUTION: A gear mechanism 90 equipped on a drive device 1 for a vehicle has a first gear 91 meshing with an output gear 45 of a second rotary electrical machine 40, a second gear 92 meshing with an input gear 71 of an output device 70, and a connection shaft 93. The gear mechanism 90 is arranged between a damper D in the axial direction L and the second rotary electrical machine 40 and is arranged to overlap with each of the damper D and the second rotary electrical machine 40 as viewed in the axial direction L. The first gear 91 is formed integrally with the connection shaft 93. The second gear 92 is small in the diameter than the first gear 91, has a face width formed wide and is engaged with an engagement portion 93a formed on the connection shaft 93. A first bearing 61 supporting the gear mechanism 90 is arranged to overlap with the first gear 91 as viewed in the radial direction of the connection shaft 93. 【課題】ギヤ機構が占有する空間の軸方向の長さを小さく抑えることが可能な車両用駆動装置を実現する。【解決手段】車両用駆動装置1が備えるギヤ機構90は、第二回転電機40の出力ギヤ45に噛み合う第一ギヤ91と、出力装置70の入力ギヤ71に噛み合う第二ギヤ92と、連結軸93とを有する。ギヤ機構90は、軸方向LにおけるダンパDと第二回転電機40との間に配置されると共に、軸方向Lに見てダンパD及び第二回転電機40のそれぞれと重複するように配置される。第一ギヤ91は、連結軸93と一体的に形成される。第二ギヤ92は、第一ギヤ91よりも小径で且つ歯幅が広く形成されると共に、連結軸93に形成された係合部93aに係合される。ギヤ機構90を支持する第一軸受61が、連結軸93の径方向に見て第一ギヤ91と重複するように配置される。【選択図】図1
