Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a breaker facilitating the replacement and maintenance of a damaged and fouled portion at the inside of an arc-extinguishing chamber.SOLUTION: A breaker includes a pair of shielding side plates 17 equipped so as to be freely loaded and unloaded in and from an arc-extinguishing chamber 1 through a through hole 1A provided to an outer wall of the arc-extinguishing chamber, and preventing an arc generated during a shutoff operation from blowing out to both sides, the shielding side plates 17 being allowed to be replaced freely. Each shielding side plate 17 is provided with an engaging projection 17a at an outer end thereof and a band-like projection 17b on a longitudinal side face thereof, for positioning the shielding side plate 17. 【課題】消弧室内部の損傷、汚損された部分の交換と保守が容易な遮断器を得る。【解決手段】消弧室1の外壁に設けた貫通孔1Aから消弧室内へ出し入れ自在に装備され、遮断動作時に発生するアークの両側方への吹き出しを防ぐ一対の遮蔽側板17を備え、遮蔽側板17を交換自在としたものである。又、この遮蔽側板17には、遮蔽側板17の位置決めのために、その外端部に、係合突部17aが、又その長手側面に、帯状突部17bが設けられている。【選択図】図3
