Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface mounting connector in which positional deviation of contacts can be regulated by an alignment plate thermal influence of which is limited.SOLUTION: In a surface mounting connector 1 in which the bottom surface 2e of a housing 2 is in contact with a circuit board PB, and contacts 3 extend from the rear surface 2a toward the circuit board PB, an alignment plate 20 for holding all or a part of a portion extending downward of the contacts 3 is provided on the rear surface 2a of the housing 2. The alignment plate 20 includes a coupling portion 250b extending in the width direction in parallel with the rear surface 2a of the housing 2, and continuous to the rear surface 2a of the housing 2 at the opposite ends in the width direction. When the contact 3 is in the regular forming posture, the alignment plate 20 holds the corresponding contacts 3 entirely or partially. 【課題】熱的影響が制限された整列板によって、コンタクトの位置振れを規制することができる表面実装コネクタを得る。【解決手段】ハウジング2の底面2eが回路基板PBに接し、後面2aから回路基板PBに向かうようにコンタクト3が延出する表面実装コネクタ1であって、ハウジング2の後面2aには、コンタクト3の下方向に延びる部分の全部或いは一部分を幅方向から保持する整列板20が備わり、整列板20はハウジング2の後面2aに対して平行に幅方向に延びるとともに、幅方向の両端部でハウジング2の後面2aに連なる連結部250bを備え、コンタクト3が正規フォーミング姿勢にあるとき、整列板20はコンタクト3の対応する全部或いは一部分を保持する。【選択図】図1
