Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake device which achieves good mountability to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle brake device includes: a master cylinder 11; master pistons 13, 14 which are provided in the master cylinder 11 so as to slide in a fore and aft direction; spool valves 23, 24 which are provided in the master cylinder 11; a brake pedal 71 to which an operation force of a driver is transmitted; an input piston 15 which receives the operation force transmitted from the brake pedal 71; a simulator spring 26 which is provided in the master cylinder 11 at the front side of the input piston 15 and biases the input piston 15 to the rear side; and a pressing piston 33 which is provided in the master cylinder 11 so as to slide in a fore and aft direction, receives the operation force input from the simulator spring 26, and drives the spool valves 23, 24. The pressing piston 33 includes: a rear part 33b; and a pressing part 33a provided at the front side of the rear part and having an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the rear part 33b. 【課題】車両への搭載性が良い車両用制動装置を提供する。【解決手段】マスタシリンダ11と、マスタシリンダ11内に前後方向摺動可能に設けられたマスタピストン13、14と、マスタシリンダ11内に設けられたスプール弁23、24と、運転者の操作力が伝達されるブレーキペダル71と、ブレーキペダル71からの操作力が伝達される入力ピストン15と、入力ピストン15の前方においてマスタシリンダ11内に設けられ、入力ピストン15を後方に付勢するシミュレータスプリング26と、マスタシリンダ11内に前後方向摺動可能に設けられ、シミュレータスプリング26から操作力が入力され、スプール弁23、24を駆動する押圧ピストン33と、を有し、押圧ピストン33は、後部33bと、後部の前方に設けられた後部33bの外径より小さい外径の押圧部33aから構成されている。【選択図】図2
