Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp which suppresses the risk of falling from a stem or a mount of a support member in the completed lamp.SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp includes a phosphor layer and a mount. The phosphor layer includes: a glass tube; mercury encapsulated in the glass tube; a discharge medium including inert gas; and a mouthpiece, and is applied to an inner wall of the glass tube. The mount includes a pair of electrode members which are provided to seal both ends of the glass tube. The mount also includes a support member for preventing an electrode member diffusion substance from being deposited onto an inner surface of a phosphor near a lamp electrode while the fluorescent lamp is turned on, and supporting an enclosure provided in the direction of a shortest distance between an electrode including an Hg getter and an Hg capsule and the inner face of the lamp. The support member is an element wire and includes a crushing-processed part in a portion to be embedded in the mount. 【課題】本発明は、完成ランプにおける支持部材のステムあるいはマウントからの脱落の恐れを抑制する蛍光ランプを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ガラス管と前記ガラス管内に封入された水銀と、希ガスを含む放電媒体と、口金と、を有し、前記ガラス管の内壁に塗布される蛍光体層と、前記ガラス管の両端を封じるよう設けられた一対の電極部材を具備したマウントを有し、そのマウントに蛍光ランプ点灯中に電極部材飛散物質がランプ電極付近の蛍光体内表面に付着防止およびHgゲッターおよびHgカプセルを具備した電極とランプ内面距離の最短方向に設けたられた囲いを支持する支持部材を有する蛍光ランプにおいて、前記支持部材は、素線であり、前記マウントに埋め込まれる部分に潰し加工部を有する。【選択図】 図2
