Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of fluorine-containing seed particle capable of manufacturing a coated film excellent in water resistance and weather resistance and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing an aqueous dispersion of fluoride-containing seed polymer (B) particle including (I) a process of manufacturing an aqueous dispersion of fluorine-containing polymer (A) particle by aqueous dispersion polymerization of a monomer containing at least one kind of fluoroolefin (a) in a presence of a surfactant and (II) a process of seed polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) with the fluorine-containing polymer (A) particle in presence of a non-reactive anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant (5) represented by the formula (5):CH=CHCH-O-R(5), where Ris a hydrocarbon group having a nonionic hydrophilic group in the aqueous dispersion of the fluorine-containing polymer (A). 【課題】耐水性及び耐候性に優れる塗膜を作成することができる含フッ素シード重合体粒子の水性分散液、およびその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】(I)界面活性剤の存在下に少なくとも1種のフルオロオレフィンを含む単量体(a)を水性分散重合して、含フッ素重合体(A)粒子の水性分散液を製造する工程、並びに(II)上記含フッ素重合体(A)粒子の水性分散液中で、非反応性アニオン系界面活性剤、および、式(5):CH2=CHCH2−O−R2(5)(式中、R2はノニオン性の親水基を有する炭化水素基である。)で示されるノニオン系界面活性剤(5)の存在下に、エチレン性不飽和単量体(b)を含フッ素重合体(A)粒子にシード重合する工程を含む含フッ素シード重合体(B)粒子の水性分散液の製造方法。【選択図】なし
