Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber wire capable of suppressing a plasticizer from transiting toward a coating layer formed on an outer periphery of an optical fiber, from a resin material including the plasticizer disposed in the vicinity, suppressing peeling between the optical fiber and coating layer even when being exposed to high temperature, and maintaining preferable side pressure transmission characteristic.SOLUTION: Provided is an optical fiber wire 10 having a coating layer 12 contacting an outer periphery of an optical fiber 11 and formed of crosslinked resin having equilibrium modulus of 10 MPa or more at 150°C. The crosslinked resin forming the coating layer 12 has equilibrium modulus of 50 MPa or less at 150°C. The layer coating the outer periphery of the optical fiber is formed of only the coating layer 12. 【課題】近傍に配置された可塑剤を含む樹脂材料から、光ファイバの外周に形成された被覆層へと可塑剤が移行するのを抑制し、高温に晒されても、光ファイバと被覆層の間の剥離が抑制されるとともに、良好な側圧伝送特性が維持される光ファイバ素線を提供する。【解決手段】光ファイバ11の外周に接触して、150℃において10MPa以上の平衡弾性率を有する架橋樹脂からなる被覆層12が設けられる光ファイバ素線10。また、被覆層12を構成する架橋樹脂は、150℃において50MPa以下の平衡弾性率を有する光ファイバ素線10。光ファイバの外周を被覆してなる層は、被覆層12のみからなる光ファイバ素線。【選択図】図1
