Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of reliably reducing opening/closing operation sound without being affected by the fluctuation in differential pressure of a solenoid control valve.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device is configured to: apply a start current value as control current at the start of electric conduction to a solenoid control valve (a pressure reduction valve), which is a reference current value required for switching the solenoid control valve from an open state to a closed state or from the closed state to the open state, and is smaller by a first predetermined amount α than an open/closed state switching reference current value (valve closing current) that is set based on differential pressure between input and output ports of the solenoid control valve (Step S112); then, perform a gradual increase of the control current, whose gradient is smaller than the increase control of control current which prioritizes control responsiveness of the solenoid control valve (Step S118); and end the gradual increase of the control current when the control current exceeds an ending current value which is larger than the open/closed state switching reference current value (Step S120). 【課題】電磁制御弁の差圧の変動の影響を受けることなく開閉作動音の低減を確実に行うことができる車両制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、電磁制御弁(減圧弁)への通電開始時に、電磁制御弁を開状態から閉状態にまたは閉状態から開状態に切り替えるために必要な基準電流値であり、かつ、電磁制御弁の入出力ポート間の差圧に基づいて設定されている開閉状態切替基準電流値(閉弁電流)より第1所定量αだけ小さい開始電流値を制御電流として与え(ステップS112)、その後、電磁制御弁の制御応答性を優先する制御電流の増大制御より勾配が小さい緩やかな制御電流の増大を行い(ステップS118)、制御電流が開閉状態切替基準電流値より大きい終了電流値を超えたときに、緩やかな制御電流の増大を終了する(ステップS120)。【選択図】図3
