PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a recording device, and an image processing method that can suppress recording density unevenness.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device for a recording device that records an image on a recording medium by relatively moving a recording head having a discharge port array constituted by arraying discharge ports and the recording medium applied with ink discharged from the discharge ports, and uses first ink and second ink having higher lightness than the first ink at the same application amount, and the image processing device includes a generation part which generates multi-valued image data through color separation of input image data.
